Objective:To explore the relationship between parental marital conflict,conflict tactics and children's so-cial adjustment.Methods:163 preschool children(Mage=74.48 months,SD=5.18 months)and their mothers participated in the study.The children's mothers completed the marital conflict questionnaire,conflict tactics questionnaire and children's strengths and difficulties questionnaire.Results:①Marital conflict was significantly correlated with negative coping strate-gies and children's social adjustment.②Negative coping strategies played a mediating role in the influence of marital con-flict on children's social adjustment.③Positive coping strategies played a moderating role in the influence of marital con-flict on children's social adjustment.Conclusion:Conflict tactics play different roles in parents'marital conflict and chil-dren's social adjustment.Thus,couples should be encouraged to adopt more positive conflict tactics.
