Analysis of the influence of different weight management methods on the pregnancy-assisted outcome of in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer in overweight or obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome
Objective This study aims to investigated the effects of different weight management methods on in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET)assisted pregnancy outcomes in overweight/obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).Method In this study,84 overweight/obese PCOS infertility patients who were to undergo IVF-ET assisted pregnancy treatment in our hospital from February 2019 to February 2022 were selected as the research objects, and were randomly divided into the conventional group and the intensive group, with 42 cases in each group. The conventional group was given routine weight management on the basis of drug treatment and ordinary dietary management. In the intensive group, dietary management intervention with high-protein and low-glycemic diet as daily staple food was performed on the basis of the conventional group. After two months of intervention,IVF-ET assisted pregnancy was performed in the two groups. The physical indexes and endocrine indexes before and after weight loss were observed and compared, and the outcome of IVF-ET assisted pregnancy was compared between the two groups.Result The body weight, body mass index(BMI),body fat rate and other physical indexes of the two groups after weight loss were significantly lower than those before weight loss(P<0.05),and the reinforcement group was significantly lower than the conventional group(P<0.05).The levels of fasting insulin(FINS)=luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and testosterone(T)after weight loss in two groups were significantly lower than before weight loss(P<0.05),and cholesterol(CHO)in the fortified group was significantly lower than before weight loss(P<0.05).The metabolic indices of FINS,CHO,LH,FSH and T in the fortified group were significantly lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).The dosage and duration of gonadotropin(Gn)in fortifying group were significantly lower than those in conventional group(P<0.05),but the number of eggs, number of fertilization, number of cleavage, number of high-quality embryos, fertilization rate, cleavage rate, excellent embryo rate and clinical pregnancy rate were significantly higher than those in conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion Weight management can effectively reduce the weight of overweight/obese PCOS infertility patients and improve endocrine metabolism. The intervention method based on exercise combined with high-protein and low-glycemic diet has better clinical effect, and can effectively improve the IVF-ET assisted pregnancy outcome of PCOS infertility patients.
