Application of integrated medical teaching model based on wechat platform in clinical internship of obstetrics and gynecology for international students
Objective The study aims to explore the effect of an integrated medical teaching model based on WeChat platform in clinical internships in obstetrics and gynecology for international students.Method 79 international students who underwent clinical internships in obstetrics and gynecology at Beijing Tongren Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University from January 2020 to December 2023 were randomly divided into a WeChat platform internship group(39)and a traditional internship group(40).The main observation indicators are the theoretical and practical assessment scores of the two groups of students,while the secondary observation indicators are the improvement of the two groups of students in five aspects:learning interest,self-learning ability,communication ability,depth of understanding of clinical problems,and teamwork ability.Results The theoretical and practical assessment scores of the experimental group students were higher than those of the control group students(P<0.05).The improvement of the experimental group students in three aspects,including learning interest,self-learning ability and depth of understanding of clinical problems,was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The integrated medical teaching model based on WeChat platform has achieved good results in the clinical internship of obstetrics and gynecology for international students,which is helpful for the cultivation of international students and worthy of further promotion and use.
