Effectiveness of the SRM-Ⅳ Vertigo Diagnostic System in treating patients with vestibular peripheral vertigo
Objective Evaluation of the SRM-Ⅳ Vertigo System for the treatment of patients with periventricular vestibular vertigo. Methods A total of 161 patients with perivestibular vertigo admitted to Shijiazhuang People 's Hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected for the study and divided into study group and routine group according to random number table method, with 81 cases and 80 cases, respectively. The routine group and the study group were treated with traditional manual reduction and fully automated SRM-Ⅳ vertigo diagnosis and treatment system respectively. The clinical efficacy, symptom improvement effect, vertebrobasilar artery(VBA) hemodynamic indexes were compared. Results Compared with the routine group, the clinical efficacy of the study group significantly increased (P<0.05). Compared with before treatment, the University of California at Los Angeles Dizziness Questionnaire (UCLA-DQ) and MSQ scores in 2 groups significantly decreased after treatment, and the UCLA-DQ and MSQ scores in the study group decreased more significant than those in the routine group(P<0.05);the mean blood flow velocity(VM) and pulse index(PI) in the 2 groups significantly increased after treatment, and the VM and PI levels in the study group increased more significant and decreased more after treatment compared with the routine group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of SRM-Ⅳ vertigo diagnosis and treatment system in patients with perivestibular vertigo could improve the clinical efficacy, symptom improvement effect, and had certain reference value.
