Efficacy and impact on immune-inflammatory levels of leuprorelin acetate combined with gestrinone in postoperative patients with endometriosis
AIM To investigate the efficacy and impact on immune function of leuprorelin acetate combined with gestrinone in postoperative patients with endometriosis.METHODS From January 2020 to June 2022,152 patients with endometriosis were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 76 cases in each group. All patients underwent laparoscopic endometriosis resection under general anesthesia.Patients in the control group were treated with leuprorelin injection after operation, while patients in the observation group were treated with leuprorelin combined with gestrinone postoperatively, with a follow-up after 6 months of treatment. The serum levels of estradiol(E2),luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),interleukin-2(IL-2),interleukin-6(IL-6)and interleukin-10(IL-10)in 2 groups before and after surgery were measured. The efficacy, the incidence of adverse events and the cost of postoperative treatment were evaluated in 2 groups.RESULTS There was no significant difference in serum E2,LH and FSH levels between 2 groups 6 months after surgery(P>0.05).The levels of IL-4 and IL-6 decreased significantly, and the level of IL-2 increased significantly in both groups after surgery compared to before treatment(P<0.05).The changes in the observation group were more obvious than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between 2 groups(P>0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the treatment cost for 6 months after surgery in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Leuprorelin acetate combined with gestrinone can improve postoperative inflammation levels in patients with endometriosis, and reduce the incidence of adverse events and the cost of postoperative treatment, which has a good prospect for clinical application.
