From September to October 2019,two tombs southeast of the Mengjin county town(now Mengjin district of Luoyang)in Henan province were excavated by the Luoyang Institute of Cultural Heritage and Archaeology(now Luoyang Institute of Archaeology).The tombs,dated to the mid-to-late Eastern Han dynasty,have well preserved structures,with abundant unearthed objects.Among them,C10M1075 yields nearly thirty figurines of musicians and dancers,the largest quantity of its kind ever found in Han dynasty tombs in Luoyang.
