The Zhengzhou Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology has carried out archaeological exploration and excavation of the Zhongliu Cemetery in Zhengzhou Airport Zone from June to December 2013,and discovered 150 tombs dated from the Warring States period,the Han and Jin dynasties,to the Tang dynasty.Among them,Tomb M31 and M61 are relatively well preserved with complete burial structures,and unearthed imitation bronze pottery ritual vessels including tripod,box,pot,yi and potteries including bowl,cup,horse head,etc.,which provide new materials for the study of tombs from the late Warring States period to the early Western Han dynasty in the central plains of China.
