Luojiaba Site at Xuanhan county in Sichuan province,as one of the central sites of Ba culture,is the largest and well-preserved site with the richest cultural connotations. From 2019 to 2020,approved by the State Cultural Relics Bureau, the Sichuan Provincial Cultural Relics and Archaeology Research Institute joined efforts with the Xuanhan County Cultural Relics Management Office to carry out successive archaeological excavations over a period of two years, and found 77 tombs, all of which were burials from the Warring States period, except for one East Han brick chambered tomb, and unearthed a large number of burial objects with period and regional characteristics.M80 and M81 were the tombs with the earlier date and richer artworks, that possessed commonalities and differentials with former findings, while also providing important materials for studying the late Ba culture in eastern Sichuan. The two tombs gave us a newer understanding of burial customs, cultural connotations and characteristics of tombs of Eastern Zhou at Luojiaba Site.
