In July 2017,four Yuan dynasty tombs were excavated by the Beijing Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics in the south of the Badachu community in Shijingshan district,Beijing. The unearthed objects include a land purchase deed, pottery jars, silver bracelets, and a bronze mirror. The land purchase deed, with mostly legible inscriptions, provides crucial evidence for dating the tomb where it was found. The layout of these tombs and the characteristics of unearthed objects are valuable for studying funeral customs in Beijing during the Yuan.
