The tomb of Prince Chongning is located at the Shixia village in Lichun town,Pengzhou,Sichuan province.The tomb occupant,named Zhu Yuejun,was a grandson of Zhu Yuanzhang,Emperor Taizu of the Ming dyansty,and the third son of Zhu Chun,King Xian of Shu.In 2008,the Pengzhou Museum and the Chengdu Archaeological Team conducted a joint rescue excavation of this tomb.More than 200 artefacts,including ceramics,gold,silver,bronze,iron,and glazed architectural components were removed from the tomb.Their discovery provides new materials for studying Prince Chongning and early Ming commandery princes.
