Fat Content and Fatty Acid Composition of Suaeda corniculata Seeds Produced from DaQing Salina
Soxhlet distilling method and gas chromatography were adopted to determine the fat and fatty acid contents of Suaeda corniculata seeds produced from Daqing Salina in Hei Longjiang Province. Results: The fat con-tent of Suaeda corniculata seeds is 25.34%, the fatty acid composition is palmitic acid 5.71%, palmoleic acid 2.05%, stearic acid 0.07%, oleic acid 10.44%, linoleic acid 80.03%, and linolenic acid 1.69%. Linoleic acid is the main fatty acid, and the total unsaturated acids account for 94,21 %. The results provide scientific basis for the development and utilization of Suaeda corniculata produced from DaQing Salina in Hei Longjiang Province.
