Determination of Tert-butylhydroquinone in Edible Oil Based on"Off-On"Carbon Quantum Dots
Nitrogen-containing carbon quantum dots(N-CQDs)were synthesized with citric acid(CA)as car-bon source and tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane(Tris)by a one-step hydrothermal method. Its structure and spec-tral characteristics were analyzed by ultraviolet spectrum, infrared spectrum and fluorescence spectrum. It was found that Fe3+could"turn off"the fluorescence of N-CQDs,and the addition of tert-butylhydroquinone(TBHQ)can make the fluorescence"turn on"again. On this basis,a new method for the determination of TBHQ was established. The results indicated that there was a good linear relationship between fluorescence intensity and TBHQ mass concentra-tion in the range of 1.00~33.24 μg/mL.The regression equation was y=0.283x+72.295.The recoveries of oil sam-ples were 90.51%~105.80%.This method could be used for rapid analysis and detection of TBHQ in edible oil.
