Rapid Determination of 16 Phthalates in Peanut Oil by Gas Chromatography-Triple Tandem Quadrupole Tandem Mass Spectrometry
A gas chromatography-triple tandem quadrupole mass spectrometry method was established for the determination of 16 phthalate esters(PAEs)in peanut oil.Peanut oil samples were extracted with n-hexane saturat-ed acetonitrile, concentrated and redissolved, and qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed using a multi reaction mo-nitoring mode(MRM)using gas chromatography triple tandem quadrupole mass spectrometry. The results indicated that 16 phthalate esters(PAEs)had a good linear relationship within the range of 0.02~1.00 μg/mL,with correla-tion coefficients greater than 0.99.The detection limit was between the range of 0.6~15.0 μg/kg,with a quantifi-cation limit in the range of 1.8~45.0 μg/kg.Compared with the national standard GB 5009.271-2016 National Food Safety Standard-Determination of Phthalate Esters in Foods, this method combined the strong anti-interfer-ence characteristics of gas chromatography-triple tandem quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry, eliminated the solid-phase extraction purification step, and made the pre-treatment process simpler. It was suitable for screening 16 types of phthalate esters(PAEs)in batch peanut oil samples and rapid qualitative and quantitative analysis.
