Study on Population Dynamics and Detection Methods of Liposcelis entomophila in Soybean Squat Silo
In integrated pest management, pest population monitoring can provide a basis for the timing of pest control. In this paper, probe traps, disc traps, corrugated cardboard traps and manual sampling sieving method were used to monitor the population dynamics of Liposcelis entomophila in a squat soybean silo, analyze the factors that in-fluence its population dynamics, and compare the effectiveness of different monitoring methods. The results indictaed that L.entomophila were mainly distributed against the wall, and the central part was less distributed.Compared with temperature, the humidity had a more significant effect on the occurrence density of L.entomophila.Among the three traps, the probe trap had the highest trapping efficiency and could detect low-density L.entomophila earlier.
