Determination and Contamination of Mycotoxins in Highland Barley Grain Samples from Xizang
To investigate the contamination of mycotoxins in highland barley from Xizang,a total of 315 highland barley grain samples were collected from Xizang during 2021 and 2022.The samples were investigated for the occur-rence of 30 mycotoxins using a high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method. The results indicated that only 7 Fusarium mycotoxins could be detected in 315 highland barley samples. The contamina-tion rates of enniatin B (ENNB)were 22.7% and 29.2%,being the major mycotoxin among these detected myco-toxins during 2021 and 2022.However,the contamination rates of other mycotoxins were less than 10% during 2021 and 2022.In addition, the mean levels of ENNB were (99.1±63.3)μg/kg and (312.8±79.1)μg/kg in highland barley in B area during 2021 and 2022,being significantly higher than that in the A and C area. Moreover, the con-tent of ENNB in highland barley was negatively correlated with altitude, but the correlation was not significant.
