Based on the user manual of WXR-2100 weather radar,the system analyzes the functional characteristic in detecting microburst during the takeoff and landing.Combined with the core simulation environment of a certain type of flight simulator,the system researches and implements a weather radar forward-looking windshear detection simulation system for flight simulation which simulates the complete logic and function of the weather radar to detect wind shear during take-off and landing.The system can detect the azimuth and distance between the aircraft and microburst in real time,generate wind shear image,wind shear warning voice and Arinc 429 bus data according to PWS alerting envelope.Simultaneously,a radar image desktop display simulation instrument was developed by using Qt plot libraries which can test the windshear image based on the computer desktop.The simulation system is ultimately applied to the full flight simulators and meets the training requirement of the forward looking windshear system.
