Evolution and Decoupling Effect of Carbon Emissions from Construction Industry in Central Cities of Huaihai
The low-carbon process of construction industry is of great significance to the healthy and stable development of resource-based cities on the edge of provinces.Taking the central city of Huaihai Economic Zone as an example, the whole life cycle method was used to calculate the carbon emissions of the construction industry, and the Tapio decoupling model was used to analyze the relationship between carbon emissions from different sources of the construction industry and economic development. The results show that the carbon emission of construction industry in Xuzhou is mainly indirect carbon emission, which has experienced the evolution process of increasing-reducing-stable,and the carbon emission caused by construction operation keeps increasing trend. The decoupling status of carbon emissions from different sources was significantly different. The decoupling relationship between total carbon emissions and output value deteriorated first and then improved, while the carbon emissions from building operation was the least ideal.Energy consumption, technology and living standard have a good effect on the total carbon emission reduction, but have a limited effect on the carbon emission reduction of building operation. In order to achieve accurate emission reduction in the construction industry,it is necessary to focus on indirect carbon emissions, and promote the low-carbon development of the construction industry by improving energy efficiency, strengthening technological innovation and promoting the concept of low-carbon life.
