Geochemical Characteristics and Influencing Factors Analysis for Selenium and Germanium in Cultivated Soil of Fuquan,Guizhou
By collecting 4 085 soil samples from cultivated land and 15 soil profile samples in Fuquan city, the content of selenium, germanium, and other indicators in the soil was measured, and the characteristics and influencing factors of selenium and germanium content were analyzed and studied. The results indicate that the selenium background value in cultivated land in Fuquan city is higher than that in Guizhou province and the national soil background value, while germanium background value is lower than that in Guizhou province but slightly higher than the national soil background value. The high anomaly of selenium and germanium appears as a strip, with an overall trend similar to a north-south distribution. The vertical selenium and germanium content generally shows a decreasing trend with increasing soil depth.Selenium and germanium in soil are mainly influenced by soil parent rocks,as well as soil physicochemical indicators such as pH value, organic matter, iron, and aluminum oxides. This achievement can provide a reference basis for the development of selenium and germanium rich agriculture in Fuquan city.
