Secondary Development of Coalfield Data for Uranium Exploration and Exploration Prospect in Shaogen area of Songliao Basin
Summary:Through the study of drilling and logging data in the Shaogen area of the Luxi Sag in the Songliao Basin,it is found that there is a large amount of gamma anomaly information in the area. Most of the radioactive anomalies in the drilling holes in the work area correspond well with the coalfield data:the natural gamma anomaly curve shape of the in-situ verification holes is basically consistent with that of the coalfield holes, the position of the anomaly peak is basically consistent, and the anomaly thickness of the in-situ verification holes is similar to that of the coalfield holes.Based on natural gamma logging and core testing in the coalfield,it is believed that there are two types of industrial uranium deposits in the Shaogen area:the sandstone type of the Sifangtai Formation and the mudstone type of the Nenjiang Formation. The research results show that the Shaogen area has good uranium mineralization conditions and prospecting prospects, and there are still most potential uranium ore holes that have not been verified through construction. It is recommended to carry out further uranium exploration work.
