Objective To explore the role of cellular death in cardiovascular diseases,and to analyze and sum-marize the future development direction of the current research hotspots.Methods Using bibliometric analy-sis,we searched the databases Web of Science and Knowledge.com for"cellular pyrokinesis"and"cardiovas-cular disease",and collected the literature and research data related to cardiovascular disease and cellular py-rokinesis from 2014 to 2024 using CiteSpace software for visualization and mapping.Literature and research data related to cardiovascular diseases and cellular death were collected from 2014 to 2024,and visualized and mapped using CiteSpace software.Results A total of 398 articles in English and Chinese were included,with an upward trend in the number of publications;the country with the largest number of publications was Chi-na;the institutions were mainly medical universities;the top authors included Liu Dajue and Jiao Yun;the top three keywords in the WOS database were Nlrp3 inflammasome,activation,and oxidative stress;in the ZhiNET database,the most cited articles were cellular pyrokinesis and pyrokinesis;and the most highly cited articles were cellular pyrokinesis and pyrokinesis.The most cited article was entitled"Pyroptosis:Gasder-min-Mediated Programmed Necrotic Cell Death",which had been cited 36 times.Conclusion The bibliomet-ric analysis visualized the current status of cellular focal death and cardiovascular disease development,and the relationship between the two has reached a new height.At present,mechanism,mortality,and vascular endothelial cells are the research hotspots and development dynamics in this field.Mechanism research should be deepened to further explore the specific mechanism of cellular pyroptosis in cardiovascular diseases;and the amount of publications in this field is relatively small,cross-border cooperation between institutions and countries should be strengthened to promote cross-fertilization of the field of cardiovascular diseases with oth-er disciplines.
