Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Global Control Therapy(GCT)combined with Zhu's scalp needle in the treatment of hemiplegia after ischemic stroke. Methods A randomized controlled study was conducted.A total of eighty patients with hemiplegia after ischemic stroke in Beijing Fengtai Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine from January 2017 to December 2019 were enrolled, and they were divided into observation group(n=40)and control group(n=40)by random number table method. The control group was given rehabilitation treatment and neurological drug treatment, and the observation group was added GCT rope band therapy and Zhu's scalp acupuncture therapy on the basis of the control group treat-ment,continuous treatment for 4w.The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score, modified Barthel Index(MBI)score, simplified Fugl-Meyer Scale(FMA)score and modified Ashworth Rating Scale(MAS)score were compared before and 4 weeks after treatment in the two groups.Telephone follow-up e-valuation 1 year later. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the general data between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable. After treatment, all scores of the two groups were im-proved.NIHSS score of observation group was(5.12±0.84),MBI score was(69.70±2.10),FMA score was(47.20±1.57)and MAS score was(1.53±0.04).They were significantly better than that of control group(P<0.05).After 1 year, the recurrence rate of observation group was 8.33%,lower than that of con-trol group(27.27%,P<0.05).Conclusion GCT rope band therapy combined with Zhu's scalp acupuncture can improve nerve function more effectively and reduce the recurrence rate of stroke patients with hemiplegia.
