Death trend of cerebrovascular diseases among permanent residents in Xizang Autonomous Region from 2018 to 2021
Objective To analyze the death trend and life loss of cerebrovascular diseases among permanent residents in Xizang Autonomous Region from 2018 to 2021,and provide the reference for the prevention and control of cerebrovascular diseases in Xizang Autonomous Region. Methods The surveillance data of death causes of cerebrovascular diseases in permanent residents of Xizang Autonomous Region from 2018 to 2021 were used to calculate the crude mortality rate,under-reporting adjusted mortality rate, standardized mortality rate, and years of life lost due to premature death(YLL)of cerebrovascular disease using the Excel 2010 software;Joinpoint 4.9.1.0 regression model was used to analyze the change trend and to calculate the average annual percent change(AAPC).Results From 2018 to 2021,the crude mortality of cerebrovascular disease in males was significantly higher than that in females of Xizang Autonomous Region(P<0.05);the standardized mortality of cerebrovascular disease in permanent residents of Xizang Autonomous Region reduced from 295.33/105 to 188.44/105,the standardized mortality of cerebrovascular disease in females decreased from 256.44/105 to 151.93/105(AAPC values were-14.42%and-15.46%,P<0.05);the standardized mortality of cerebrovascular diseases in males ranged from 243.20/105 to 344.86/105,without statistically significant trend(AAPC=-12.66%,P>0.05);the adjusted mortality rate for under-reporting of cerebrovascular diseases ranged 89.28/105-1 17.09/105,without statistically significant trend(P>0.05).The adjusted mortality rate for under-reporting of cerebrovascular diseases in each year increased with age(P<0.05).In ≥60 years old group, the adjusted mortality rate for under-reporting of cerebrovascular diseases decreased from 1 130.50/105 in 2018 to 804.65/105 in 2021(AAPC=-11.56%,P<0.05).From2018 to 2021,the adjusted mortality rate for under-reporting of cerebrovascular diseases in agricultural and pastoral areas was higher than that in urban area(P<0.05);and the standardized mortality of cerebrovascular disease in agricultural and pastoral areas decreased from 325.18/105 to 202.0/105(AAPC=-14.94%,P<0.05);the standardized YLL rate of cerebrovascular diseases in permanent residents of Xizang Autonomous Region decreased from 6 483.15/105 to 4 080.40/105(AAPC=-14.74%,P<0.05).Conclusion From 2018 to 2021,the standardized mortality of cerebrovascular diseases of the permanent residents in Xizang Autonomous Region showed a downward trend, and the disease burden reduced. The prevention and treatment should be strengthened for key populations.
