Analysis on influencing factors of hypertension among HIV infected cases/AIDS cases in Xining city of Qinghai Province based on structural equation model
Objective To explore the prevalence of hypertension and its influencing factors among persons infected by human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)and acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS)patients(HIV infected persons/AIDS patients)in Xining of Qinghai Province, and provide the scientific basis for the prevention, control and intervention of hypertension among HIV infected persons/AIDS patients. Methods From February to July 2023,the convenient sampling method was used to select 468 HIV infected persons/AIDS patients with received highly effective antiretroviral therapy(HAART)in Xining of Qinghai Province as the subjects. The x2 test and exploratory factor analysis were used to analyze the data, the used software was SPSS 22.0.AMOS 24.0 was used to construct the structural equation model(SEM)of the influencing factors of hypertension in HIV infected persons/AIDS patients. Results A total of 468 subjects(including 138 hypertension cases)were included, the morbidity of hypertension was 29.5%,which increased with age(x2trend=44.54,P<0.01).The SEM analysis results showed that demographic characteristics,socio-economic status, and HIV infection years had direct and indirect effects on the prevalence of hypertension in the population, the total path coefficients were 0.14,0.18,and 0.02,respectively.Depression,CD4+T cell count, body mass index, and family history of hypertension had the direct impact effect on the prevalence of hypertension in the population, the path coefficients were 0.12,-0.60,0.19,and 0.12,respectively.The model had good adaptability. Conclusion The morbidity of hypertension among HIV infected persons/AIDS patients in Xining of Qinghai Province is higher.Comprehensive health interventions should be taken for the population, and HIV infection related indicators such as blood pressure and CD4+T cell count should be regularly monitored to effectively reduce the risk of hypertension.
