The work willingness and influencing factors for cervical and breast cancer screening among Ordos Women's Federation workers
Objective To understand the influencing factors and work willingness,level of knowledge of cervical cancer and breast cancer among Ordos Women's Federation workers,and provide the reference for training and management of Women's Federation workers in the"two cancers"screening program.Methods From June 14 to July 4,2023,the convenient sampling method was used to select 492 Women's Federation workers from 3 Banners(Zhungeer,Ejin Horo and Hangjin)in Ordos as the subjects.The investigation was performed with the questionnaires(including the demographic,knowledge,willingness to participate in the work of cervical and breast cancers screening and influence factors).Univariate logistic regression and multivariate logistic regression were used to analyze the data.The used software was SPSS 26.0.Results The median scores of cervical cancer knowledge and breast cancer knowledge among 492 Women's Federation workers were 9.00 and 5.00,respectively.Among 492 subjects,the willingness to participate in the"two cancers"screening work in 318 subjects(64.63%)was higher.The results of the multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the willingness to participate in the"two cancers"screening work in the subjects working in Ejin Horo Banner(OR=1.707,95%CI:1.059-2.753),with working duration for 6-10 years(OR=1.887,95%CI:1.026-3.472),with education level ≥ graduate student(OR=2.777,95%CI:1.012-7.622)and with high level of"two cancers"knowledge(OR=1.752,95%CI:1.189-2.581)was much higher(P<0.05).Conclusion The knowledge level of two cancers in Women's Federation workers can be improved through popular science popularization and training,in order to increase the willingness of Women's Federation workers to participate in the screening work of"two cancers".
