摘要
他汀类药物因其降低胆固醇的特性而被广泛使用.最新研究表明他汀类药物通过促进宿主防御和抑制病理性炎症提高人类感染性疾病生存率.病毒感染导致的传染性疾病一直是公共卫生的重大挑战.本综述讨论了他汀类药物治疗病毒感染性疾病的可能性.
Abstract
Statins have been widely used for their cholesterol-lowering properties.Recent studies have shown that they increase survival in human infectious diseases by promoting host defense and inhibiting pathological inflammation.Infectious diseases caused by viruses have been a major challenge to public health.This review discusses potential use of statins to treat viral infection.
