摘要
本文通过对戈登《美国生活中的同化:种族、宗教和民族来源的角色》一书中族群同化模型的逻辑思路及模型中七个变量之间的关系进行梳理,并对戈登所总结的美国社会中的三种族群同化理论——"盎格鲁一致性""熔炉""多元文化主义"进行辨析与思考,在此基础上对我国民族关系的相关研究提出思考与展望.
Abstract
This paper reviews the logical process behind the ethnic assimilation model with its seven variables as formulated and discussed by Gordon M.Milton in his book Assimilation in American Life.While acknowledging merits from the three models of assimilation——Anglo-conformity,melting pot,and multiculturalism,this paper also discusses other alternative theories to building on Milton's models of ethnic relations in China.
