Research Progress of Urban Multi-functional Forest Management
The aims of the study are to adapt to the trend of transforming forest from reasonable utilization and moderate development to protection and multi-functional management, and to establish the sustainable urban forest management system in light of the requirements of urban forest development in China. The present situation and development of urban forest in China was introduced. Then the development progresses of multi-functional forest management in both foreign countries such as the United States, Germany, Japan, and China's Hongkong, Taiwan and mainland were reviewed. Meanwhile, the relevant laws and regulations of the above countries and regions were summarized in order to provide reference for urban multi-functional forest management in China.
