Cultivating Pleurotus geesteranus by Using Pleurotus eryngii Residues
In order to effectively recycle the waste residue in mushroom production, reasonably control production costs, thereby to enhance production efficiency, in this experiment, Pleurotus eryngii residue eliminated after one time fruiting in industrialized mushroom production was taken as the material, to substitute cottonseed shell and corncob according to different proportions for cultivating P. geesteranus, and formula screening was carried out to obtain the most suitable formula for P. geesteranus growth. Test results showed that adding P. eryngii residue had no significant influence on the agronomic traits of fruiting bodies of P. geesteranus. With the gradual increase of the proportion of the residue, the yield, output value and input-output ratio of P. geesteranus showed a gradual increasing trend. The formula with 50% P. eryngii residue could achieve the highest yield, output value and input-output ratio in P. geesteranus cultivation and a good application prospect.
