In vitro Bacteriostatic Test and Clinical Effect of Chinese Herbal Compound Perfusion Fluid on Pathogenic Bacteria of Dairy Cow Mastitis
In order to determine the antibacterial effects and clinical efficacy of Chinese herbal compound perfusion fluid on common pathogenic bacteria of dairy cow mastitis, the experiment selected Dandelion,Viola yedoensis,Honeysuckle,Forsythia,Angelica sinensis and trichosanthes, etc, according to a certain proportion of prescriptions, the common extraction methods of perfusion fluid were used to extract the effective components by water extraction and alcohol precipitation method. In vitro bacteriostatic tests on Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus were carried out by Oxford cup method and double ratio dilution method. The results showed that the compound Chinese medicine perfusion fluid had good bacteriostatic effect on the above pathogens.Every day,40 mL of compound Chinese herbal perfusion fluid was injected into the milk area of diseased cows for 14 consecutive days, and the effective rate and cure rate of invisible mastitis were up to 95.00%,the effective rate for clinical mastitis was 90.00%and the cure rate was 80.00%.The SCC was lower than 200,000/mL after medication, which was significantly lower than the SCC before medication(P<0.05),the average daily milk yield was increased by about 1kg,which proved that the compound Chinese herbal perfusion fluid has a good therapeutic effect on dairy cow mastitis.
