Research Progress on the Substitution of Soybean Meal Reduction in Livestock and Poultry Diets
As a traditional source of feed protein,soybean meal has the characteristics of high quality and rich nutrition,but its price fluctuates greatly,the cost is high,and the dependence on soybean imports is high.Therefore,the search for feed protein substitution is the current national strategic demand and nutritional research hotspot,which aims to reduce feed costs,reduce dependence on soybean meal,and improve the sustainability of animal feed protein applications.This paper reviews the significance of soybean meal reduction substitution and the research and application status of different soybean meal alternative raw materials,in order to provide reference for soybean meal reduction and substitution in diet or feed.
