Effects of Different Months,Parity and Uterine Involution on the First Mating Conception Rate of Dairy Cows
the conception rate is one of the important indicators to measure the reproduction level of dairy farms,in which the first mating conception rate of dairy cows is an important factor affecting the conception rate of dairy farms. In order to study the effects of different months, parity and uterine involution on the first mating conception rate of dairy cows, the reproductive data of participating cows in a large-scale dairy farm were statistically analyzed. The results showed that the conception rate of dairy cows in January,May,September,October and November was significantly higher than that in July and August(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in February,March,June,July and August(P>0.05).The first mating conception rate of cows with one parity was significantly different from that of other parity(P<0.05),and the first conception rate of dairy cows decreased with the increase of parity. The first mating conception rate of dairy cows with 0 degree of uterine involution was significantly higher than that of 1~3 murals(P<0.05).The more severe the inflammation of uterine involution, the lower the first mating conception rate.
