Preliminary Study on Abundance-deficiency Index of Soil Available P and Recommended Phosphorus Fertilizer Application Rates for Oats in China
To provide a scientific basis for soil testing and P fertilizer recommendation of oats,an integration method for scattered experimental data and the new applied formula based on"the method of nutrient balance and projected yield minus soil fertility yield"were employed to study the abundance-deficiency index(ADI)of soil available P and the recommended phosphorus fertilizer application rate(RPFAR)for oats in China. The results show that the ADI of soil available P for oats in China from the first to the eighth level are≥45,24~45,12~24,6.2~12,3.2~6.2,1.7~3.2,0.9~1.7 and<0.9mg/kg,respectively.When the phosphorus fertilizer use efficiency in current season(PFUEICS)is 15%~35%and the target yields of grain oats are 1.5~6.0 t/hm2,the ranges of RPFAR for the first to the eighth level soil are 0,4~40,9~80,13~120,17~160,21~200,26~240 and 30~280 kg/hm2,respectively.When the PFUEICS is 15%~35%and the target yield of forage oats is 4.5~15 t/hm2,the ranges of the RPFAR for the first to the eighth level soil are 0,6~50,13~100,19~150,26~200,32~250,39~300 and 45~350 kg/hm2,respectively.In this study, the recommended fertilization system based on the ADI of soil available P for grain and forage oats in China is preliminary established, and it lays a scientific foundation for soil testing and phosphorus fertilization of oats in China.
