The Action Mechanism And Application Of Flavonoids In Dairy Cows
Flavonoids are widely found in plant-based raw ingredients and are one of the most biologically active compounds in plant extracts.In this paper,the structure,types,digestive and metabolic pathways,action mechanisms and applicational effects of flavonoids are reviewed.It is found that flavonoids can regulate endogenous hormone levels and improve the proliferation of mammary tissue cells in dairy cows through their estrogen-like effects,thereby improve milk production and quality in dairy cows.The purpose of this paper is to provide basic information for the screening of more active flavonoids,which can be better applied to the practical production of dairy cows.
