Study on Drug Resistance Mechanism of Multidrug Resistant Staphylococcus aureus Isolated from Dairy Cows
In order to analyze the drug resistance mechanism of a strain of Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus)Q1 from cow mastitis, and provide data basis for the prevention and control of cow mastitis S.aureus.The drug resistance mechanism was predicted by strain isolation and identification, drug sensitivity test and whole genome sequencing. The results showed that Q1 was resistant to macrolides(MA),Lincosamides(LA),amidols(AMs),tetracyclines(TCs),and sulfonamides(SAs).It has intermediary resistance to penicillins(PCs)and aminoglycosides(AGS),and carries 9 resistance genes, including ermB,ermC,msrA,mphC,lnuA,fexA,tetK,AAC(6')-ie APH(2')-IA,carB-6.It is concluded that the isolated S.aureus Q1 from dairy cows has multiple drug resistance, and its drug resistance mechanism is presumed to be the combined action of efflux pump, antibiotic target change and antibiotic inactivation mechanism, which can provide a basis for the prevention and treatment of bovine mastitis caused by S.aureus.
