Comparative Analysis of Four Detection Methods for Brucellosis
In order to study the laboratory detection method for rapid and accurate diagnosis of brucellosis. The serum samples from two cattle farms screened by brucellosis tiger red plate agglutination test(RBT)were tested by test tube agglutination test(SAT),indirect enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(iELISA)and competitive enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(cELISA).The specificity, sensitivity, coincidence rate and Kappa value of the four methods were compared. The differences of various methods in the diagnosis of brucellosis were analyzed to find out the methods suitable for primary screening and laboratory diagnosis. The results showed that the sensitivity of RBT and iELISA was higher than that of SAT and cELISA,RBT and the specificity and coincidence rate of cELISA were higher. Therefore, for the laboratory diagnosis of brucellosis, the detection methods should be selected according to the actual conditions,RBT and iELISA are suitable for primary screening,SAT and cELISA are suitable for diagnosis, active promotion is of great significance for the prevention and control of animal brucellosis.
