Research progress on necroptosis in ischemic stroke
Necroptosis is a regulated inflammatory cell death mechanism that relies on receptor interaction protein kinase(RIPK)1,RIPK3,and mixed lineage kinase domain-like protein(MLKL)activation and is associated with many diseases.Research has shown that necroptosis plays an important role in the occurrence and development of ischemic stroke. This article reviews the mechanism of necroptosis and elucidates its regulatory mechanism in the process of ischemic stroke, with the aim of providing new therapeutic targets for intervening in the occurrence and progression of ischemic stroke.
