Research progress on risk prediction of intracranial aneurysm rupture based on hemodynamics
Intracranial aneurysm is one of the common cerebrovascular diseases, and its rupture is the main cause of spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage. It is crucial to conduct predictive assessment on the rupture risk of unruptured aneurysms. The authors reviewed relevant domestic and foreign literatures in recent years on the prediction of intracranial aneurysm rupture risk based on morphological and hemodynamic factors, introduced commonly used methods for intracranial aneurysm imaging and hemodynamic modeling based on images, and discussed key steps and common errors in modeling in order to provide references for intracranial aneurysm rupture risk assessment.
