Radix pueratiae is one of important crops used as drug and food,and has been concerned by researcher and producer based its rich resources and extensive application.This paper reviewed the research progresses of radix pueratiae in germplasms,distribution,quality characteristics,cultivation,breeding,development and utilization as drug,food,feed et al.The problems and future research fields of radix pueratiae was put forward.
