Studies on Introduction and Cultivation of Blueberry in Lijiang Yunnan
The study aims to select blueberry cultivars suitable for ecoclimatic conditions in Lijiang high altitude area.The experiment was conducted to investigate the introduction and cultivation of 12 cultivars of blueberry in Lijiang Yunnan at 2400 m altitude during 2010-2013.The results showed that 4 cultivars,‘Brightwell’,‘Bluecrop’,‘Brigitta’ and ‘Northland’,had good cultivation reaction at 2400 m altitude of Lijiang,‘ Brightwell’ could be used as processing cultivar.‘ Bluecrop’ and ‘ Northland’ could be used as fresh cultivars.‘ Brigitta’ could be used as both processing cultivar and fresh cultivar.Other cultivars needed further observation and research.
