Ecological Agriculture Development Planning of Lianping County in Guangdong Province
Lianping County is located in Jiulian mountain area,northeast of Guangdong Province.It is an upstream county by Xinfeng River and water source of Dongjiang River,as well as an important ecological barrier in northern Guangdong Province.Because of its mountain area location and backward economic development,Lianping was listed as one of the key counties for poverty alleviation and development of Guangdong Province in 2015.In order to develop local agricultural economy while protecting environment and water resources,the suitable way for Lianping is a sustainable development.Ecological agriculture is an important part of sustainable development,and Lianping has advantages and unique conditions in ecological resources.In this study,the natural resources,social resources and agricultural production in recent years in Lianping were analyzed.The advantages and disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of ecological agricultural development were clarified.In refer to some successful cases of ecological agricultural development at home and abroad,we made an overall planning of ecological agricultural development for Lianping County and put forward some related policy recommendations.
