Effect of Optimizing Fertilization on Yield and Quality of Potato and Soil Nutrient Supply
Potato is one kind of important food and vegetable crop in China, ranking first in terms of area and production in the world.Adjusting the fertilization structure of potato and improving potato's yield and quality have become urgent issues in potato cultivation. In the two-year field experiment, the potential of organic and microbial fertilizers to improve potato quality and yield under reduced chemical fertilizer was studied. The experiment aimed to provide a theoretical basis for the model of reducing chemical fertilizer application and increasing efficiency in potato. The results showed that compared with the application of chemical fertilizers alone, the application of organic or microbial fertilizers significantly increased potato yield by 23.5%to 34.5%,increased potato starch content by 4.2%to 17.5%,and reduced potato nitrate content by 9.0%to 56.0%,significantly improved soil physical and chemical properties.Microbial fertilizers could significantly increase the content of soil alkaline nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium and organic matter. The results of two-way ANOVA showed that fertilizer application level had a significant effect on potato nutritional quality, while fertilizer type was the main factor affecting soil physical and chemical properties. The results of redundancy analysis showed that soil alkaline nitrogen, available phosphorus content and pH had significant effects on the nutritional quality of potato.
