Research Progress on Factors Influencing Synthesis and Accumulation of Polygonatum odoratum Polysaccharides
Taking the main component index of Polygonatum odoratum polysaccharide specified in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia as the starting point,this paper summarized the effects of polysaccharide synthesis and accumulation from the perspectives of polysaccharide synthesis and accumulation approaches and germplasm,cultivation,processing and other methods,with a view to providing a reference for the creation,ecological cultivation,processing,development and utilization of new germplasm of P.odoratum.Through summary and analysis,it was found that the transformation and accumulation of P.odoratum polysaccharide were significantly affected by the provenance and strains of P.odoratum,as well as the ground cover and fertilization during the cultivation process.The harvest year,different harvest periods in the same year and the initial processing technology in different places after harvest also had significant effects on the polysaccharide content of P.odoratum.Therefore,it is necessary to strictly regulate the origin and strains of P.odoratum,and plant,harvest and process P.odoratum according to standardized technical procedures to ensure the output and quality of P.odoratum.
