Phenological Characteristics of Lagerstroemia indica Germplasm Resources in Wuhan
187 Lagerstroemia indica materials were investigated for phenological characteristics such as germination, leaf expansion, flowering, and defoliation, and their phenological laws were analyzed and evaluated comprehensively to provide theoretical basis and data support for the evaluation of the phenological characteristics of L.indica germplasm resources. The results showed that the coefficient of variation of 12 phenological periods ranged from 8.55%to 52.01%,and the order of variation from large to small was:leaf bud germination stage>defoliation stage>leaf expansion stage>defoliation stage>budding stage>late defoliation stage>leaf expansion stage>flowering stage>flowering stage>flowering stage>young fruit emergence stage>fruit maturity stage. There were 42 pairs of phenological periods with extremely significant positive correlation,6 pairs of phenological periods with significant correlation, and the other 18 pairs of phenological periods with no significant correlation. In the principal component analysis, the contribution rates of the first three principal components were 36.320%,23.282%and 17.704%respectively,and the cumulative contribution rate reached 77.305%.The results showed that there were large differences and more significant correlations between the various phenological periods of L.indica, and the first three principal components were representative in the principal component analysis, which provided a scientific basis for the development, cultivation, protection and evaluation of L.indica germplasm in the region.
