Experimental Study on Prevention and Treatment of Stem Base Rot of Ipomoea batatas During Cutting Period
In order to effectively prevent stem base rot and ensure the sustainable and healthy development of Ipomoea batatas industry, two varieties,'Zheshu 38'and'Guangtaishu 1',were selected in 2022.Starting from May 12,the cuttings were carried out every 14 days for a total of 8 stages to carry out the experiment for preventing and controlling the stem base rot of Ipomoea batatas at different cutting stages. The results showed that the earlier the cutting stage, the more the plant number of stem base rot occurred, and the later the cutting stage, the miler the disease was,and the fewer the number of stem base rot.The correlation between the cutting stage and the plant incidence reached a very significant level by variance analysis and significance test. The data model of the relationship between them was established by logarithm function,y=-11.84291nx+54.8861.Correlation coefficient r=-0.938>R0.0i[2,6]=0.834,reaching a very significant level. The results of fresh potato yield measurement showed that, the later the cutting yield, the lower the yield, and the F value of yield difference was 11.29569>F0.01[7,14]=4.28,reaching the extremely significant standard.Combining disease prevention and Ipomoea batatas yield analysis,it was appropriate to take cutting around June 9 to prevent disease and obtain high yield, which had positive guiding significance for the prevention and control of stem base rot.
