Economic benefits and influencing factors of the comprehensive rice farming and breeding model in China:Evidence based on meta-analysis
In order to comprehensively analyze the existing research results and explore the economic benefits of different rice field comprehensive planting and breeding models, based on the databases of China Knowledge Network,Wanfang and Web of science,81 documents were obtained by searching and screening with keywords of integrated rice-farming model and economic benefits, and meta-analysis was applied to statistically analyse the economic benefits of the integrated rice-farming model and its influencing factors. The research results indicate that:1)Compared with the rice monoculture model, the economic benefits of the rice field comprehensive planting and breeding model are significantly improved.Among different types of rice field comprehensive planting and breeding models, the rice duck model and the rice fish model have higher economic benefits.2)The economic benefits of the integrated rice farming model vary at different time stages and geographical regions.3)Natural environmental and socio-economic factors will have a significant impact on the economic benefits of the integrated rice farming model, and the different experimental characteristics will also affect the research results of the economic benefits of the integrated rice farming model.Based on this, this study proposes the targeted policy recommendations to provide useful references for policy makers and agricultural promoters and promote the widespread application of comprehensive rice cultivation models in China.
