The Three-Dimensional Dimension of the Integration of Farming,Reading, and Education in Primary and Secondary Schools in the New Era
In the contemporary era,the integration of agricultural education into primary and secondary schools must meet three key criteria:hierarchical, subjective, and guarantee requirements. For hierarchical requirements, the focus is on implementing agricultural education across five levels:early childhood, primary, secondary, higher, and graduate education.Early childhood education involves the enlightenment of"things",primary education centers on the education of"things",secondary education on explaining"principles",higher education on conveying"Dao"(道),and graduate education on deepening"righteousness".In terms of subjectivity requirements,it is necessary for the Party committee, government, schools, society, and families to maintain directional unity, temporal and spatial consistency, and operational complementarity in the content, concepts, and implementation of education. As for guarantee requirements, there's a continued commitment to the principle of"simultaneous development of five educations",which includes integrating agricultural heritage into moral education, imparting knowledge about agriculture, rural areas, and farmers in intellectual education, fostering social responsibility through sports, cultivating cultural awareness in aesthetic education, and enhancing character through labor education.
