Research on the Formation Mechanism of High Betrothal Gifts Based on Rural Areas—Taking the Rural Areas of Jiangxi as an Example
Since the reform and opening up 40 years ago,China's economy has entered an era of rapid development.Farmers have a higher demand for material life,and the betrothal gifts in rural areas are constantly rising.The farmers in Jiangxi are deeply trapped in the whirlpool of high-value betrothal gifts,and"sky-high betrothal gifts"emerge in an endless stream,causing repercussions from all walks of life.The empirical analysis results showed that the composition of betrothal gifts in rural areas of Jiangxi is mainly affected by the two core factors of ideology and economic level.From the analysis of the constructed structural equation model,it can be found that to a certain extent,economic factors have a positive and significant impact on the composition of high betrothal gifts.From the perspective of the ideology of rural residents,ideology plays an intermediary role between economic factors and the composition of high betrothal gifts.On the basis of this conclusion,the government and its relevant departments on the governance of rural marriage betrothal gifts first of all should improve the economic conditions in rural areas and strengthen the subsistence and allowances of farmers'life,improve the elderly care,medical system;secondly,vigorously promote the reform of wedding customs suitable for rural areas,build a good social public opinion environment to form a new moral fashion and play a guiding role in the correct view of marriage;finally,continue to implement the legal construction in rural areas and improve the corresponding laws and regulations.
