Impact of Risk Perception on the Willingness of Fruit Farmers to Apply Organic Fertilizers——Taking Shanxi Wanrong as an Example
This article used micro survey data from apple growers in Wanrong county of Shanxi province to explore the influencing factors of fruit farmers'willingness to apply organic fertilizer by using a binary Logit model. As decision-makers in production and operation, fruit farmers'willingness to apply organic fertilizer is often influenced by their own perception of external risks, therefore,at the same time, the impact of fruit farmers'own risk perception on their willingness to apply organic fertilizers was analyzed. The research found that fruit farmers themselves have a low willingness to use organic fertilizers, with 48.9%of farmers expressing reluctance to use organic fertilizers;the stronger the perception of technological and market risks, the less likely it is for fruit farmers to use organic fertilizers;the age and training frequency of fruit farmers have a significant impact on their willingness to use organic fertilizers. Therefore, the agricultural technology department needs to increase technical training efforts, improve the cognitive level of fruit farmers'organic fertilizer application, and the government needs to continue to improve the agricultural products, trading market,at the same time, increasing subsidies for farmers to use organic fertilizers can further enhance their risk resistance, and thus enhance their willingness to use organic fertilizers.
