Investigation Analysis on the Cost of Rice Planting in Heilongjiang Province
Food security is always the fundamental issue of the country.China is a powerhouse and major consumer of rice in the world,rice consumption accounts for about 60%of residents'food consumption.Heilongjiang province is a major grain production province in China.It has great significance that investigating and analyzing the rice planting costs in Heilongjiang province,and it can provide reference for the government to formulate agricultural production policies.This paper collected and analyzed data based on a questionnaire survey and SPSS software,and identified the changed in rice planting area and planting costs in Heilongjiang province and their reasons.The results showed that:(1)Compared with the year of 2020,the average rice planting area per household in Heilongjiang province decreased by 0.8 hectares in 2021,and the yield per unit area increased by 479.10 kilograms per hectare.(2)The total cost of rice planting in Heilongjiang province in 2021 increased 765.6 yuan per hectare compared with that in the year of 2020,with great differences among regions.(3)Among the cost components of rice cultivation,the cost of renting land accounts for the largest proportion of the total cost,accounting for approximately 49%,rice seeds and irrigation inputs account for the smallest proportion of total cost,each approximately account for 3%;the increase in labor costs for employment ranks first among all costs,at 9.28%,the smallest increase is harvesting costs,at 0.49%.Based on this,we should explore agricultural insurance varieties,continuously improve the compensation mechanism,strengthen land rent management,improve the producer subsidy system,and continue to explore the price control mechanism of agricultural machinery and agricultural materials to control the price increase,in order to protect farmers'planting enthusiasm,ensure farmers'income and national food security.
