Promoting Effects of Urban Agriculture on Labor Education
Urban agriculture,due to its regional characteristics and attributes of multifunctionality,interdisciplinarity,and multi-channel services to influence the production-living-ecological,positively influences the advancement of labor education.Labor education plays a crucial role in cultivating correct labor views among young people,honing their labor skills,and shaping their work ethics,making it an essential component of the educational system.This article reviewed relevant policies,connotations,and current development status of labor education,identifying challenges encountered during its promotion.By further analyzing the characteristics and approaches of labor education,in conjunction with the multifunctionality,interdisciplinarity,and multi-channel features of urban agriculture,the article delved into the positive role urban agriculture plays in advancing labor education from multiple perspectives.Based on this,the fundamental strategies for urban agriculture to promote labor education were put forward:firstly,leveraging its multifunctional attributes to enrich practical labor content;secondly,utilizing its interdisciplinary strengths to enhance comprehensive literacy;and thirdly,harnessing its multi-scenario characteristics to provide a resource platform that supports the development of labor education.
